The information center was requested by:

the community of Lemberg, as represented by Verbandsgemeindeverwaltung Pirmasens-Land, Bahnhofstrasse 19, 66953 Pirmasens

Construction:

- Total space appr.1.050 m3

- exhibition surface appr.92 m2

- Usable exhibition wall surface 37 metres in length

- 3 levels (2 galleries) with open space

- lightweight construction around a steel framework

- integration of stone and archeological remains

- steel spiral staircase mounted on a stone base

Construction timetable:

- Excavation autumn 1999/spring 2000

- Start of structural work 9/2000

- End of construction 8/2001

- Completion of exhibition

Costs:

Construction and creation of the exhibition appr. 690.800 DM
